CEO & leadership coaching
For startup and scaleup founders from pre-seed to Series C across the UK, Europe and US.
The Founder role changes every 6 months and you need to adapt and grow as your role changes. The approach that helped you get a company started may leave you overloaded once you have team members, executives and investors depending on you.
I support founders as they grow into that role. Our work focuses on how you make decisions, build a leadership team, delegate responsibility and communicate what matters.
When CEO coaching can help
Important decisions still come back to you. You have hired senior people and are unsure how much direction to give them. You spend most of the week responding to requests and have little time for strategy. Or a difficult relationship with a co-founder, executive or board member is taking up disproportionate attention.
What we work on
Your priorities as CEO: identify the decisions and relationships that most need you, and create space for them.
Delegation and accountability: be clear about the result you expect, who owns it and how you will stay informed without taking the work back.
Leading senior people: set expectations, give useful feedback and address performance problems before they become entrenched.
Communication and difficult conversations: explain decisions, handle disagreement and speak directly about problems while preserving the ability to work together.
Your judgment as a leader: examine the assumptions, habits and pressures affecting a decision, then choose how to act.
Executive coaching grounded in founder experience
My approach draws on co-founding Multiverse, leading OneGarden as CEO and advising other founders. I combine leadership coaching with practical operating advice when the situation calls for it.
The focus evolves with your stage, from establishing priorities and your early team to building the leadership and organisation for growth. We agree an ongoing retainer relationship, with regular conversations and support between sessions.
